3:30 in the afternoon today October 6, 2008, the Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Tinnex Jaraula receives the manifesto from the Cooperative Leaders to coopertive-ize COWD.
Some 300 individuals rushed to the Office of the City Mayor to express concerns and sincerity over the Cagayan de Oro Water District for its cooperative-ization. The chairman of the Cagayan de Oro Development Council, Anselmo Mercado Phd. reads the manifesto with Atty Isidro Q. Lico and CDA Regional Director Orlando Ravanera. In response Mayor Jaraula expresses his opinion that the group being representative of the people of CAgayan de Oro should exert efforts to proceed the legal aspects.
