Promoting your blog in facebook is a great way to increase traffic and promote your blog. There are 3 ways to do it.

1. Open you blog post - copy url - paste on facebook newsfeed or page
2. Add blog url address to your facebook profile
3. Auto post blog post to facebook

Let's discuss them one by one.

1. Open you blog post - copy url - paste on facebook newsfeed or page

This is just merely sharing the link of your blog post and pasting it in your facebook profile.

Note:
When the post snippet appears, you may delete the url pasted, facebook will already recognize it.








2. Add blog url address to your facebook profile

Just open your facebook profile and update your website url. Write your blog address. This allows people to watch your profile to see your site directly once you allow this portion to be seen publicly.

3. Auto post blog post to facebook

This difficult and a bit complicated but using third party autoposting capability can do this. Try using IFTTT (If-This-Then-That) at iftt.com. This is use mostly by Blogger users.

Others were doing it though fb email post using feeds but this requires technical knowledge.

Wordpress have an autoposting feature that do not need a plugin. I have used it in one of my blogs. If you can't figure it, you may check some plugins, just search it at wordpress plugin.
